Customize your draw: Nemesis with difficulty level, number of player characters, market from a pattern or full custom

Aeon’s End

Aeon’s End is a collaborative deck-building game. Up to four players are mages of the breach, who attempt to survive against a powerful foe known as a Nemesis.

Players may acquire nine cards from a market proposing a choice of gems, relics, and spells. This market changes with each game.

What I made

I have programmed a randow draw webapp, which enables players to choose randomly :

  • the nemesis they will be fighting, by choosing its difficulty level
  • the mages of the breach they will play
  • the market, with options to customize:
    • how many cards of each type is available (gem, relic, spell)
    • a range of resource costs for each available card
Result of the randomizer: nemesis, player characters, market, and contextual window with nemesis explanations

Result of the randomized draw

The draw results page displays the nemesis obtained, the player characters and the market.

Clicking on a picture opens an image carousel, and clicking on a link takes you to the corresponding Aeon's End wiki page (from which I borrowed the illustrations).

Two buttons enable the user to make another draw with the same parameters, or to modify their parameters.

Why is the webapp not available here?

This webapp is for private use only, as it includes the text of the maps and their illustrations. These are subject to copyright.

The video on this page shows a demo of the webapp.
